Flickr is a nice website where people can upload pictures and share it with everyone. You can mark certain things on an image where a caption could be added. It's a great website. The link below is an image of the Airbus 380. What a big plane!

Traveling? Try Kayak!
Kayak (kayak.com) is a great travel tool to use to find great airfares. The results you get are from many of the popular travel websites. These include Orbitz, Travelocity, Priceline, as well as airline companies such as American, United and Northwest. You don't have to go to these individual websites; very convenient. It is a web tool that I would recommend to library patrons searching for airfares online.

Technorati...Techno-what?
A great site to browse and search for blogs is Technorati. If one wants to find a blog about a particular interest and not have to go through the whole world wide web should use this useful tool. To include your own blog into the mix, all you have to do is create tags from your blog.
You've Been Tagged....Del.icio.us!...mmm...mmm...good!
Del.icio.us gives users a place to collect ideas (webpages). It could be a tool for people to put similar pages for easy access. An example would be if one is researching a particular subject, a collection of pages suggested by many other users could be put together under this useful tool. Another use is the obvious one of having a remote access to your bookmarks or favorites. Del.icio.us is a great tool.

NoSpace for Me, Got a Facebook
Instead of MySpace, I signed up for a Facebook account. It was an easy and quick process. If you want to add more things to the page, it would take more time. I created a simple page and would probably add more features later. MySpace is popular with so many different people because it gives them an opportunity to put themselves out there. It gives them a forum to gather, meet new people and express their ideas.
MySpace or NoSpace for VBPL?
VBPL should use social networking websites to promote itself as many other institutions do. It's a great tool to meet other people from all over the country and the world. Moreover, it could also be used to connect with old friends and/or colleagues.

The Reader's Advisory wiki page was easy to edit and post comments. Others can certainly use wikis for not only book picks but can also be for gathering ideas together.
